Catering and education sectors in Britain and in Canada . In recent years has worked on several large Public Private Partnerships concerned in the development of large groups of schools around Britain.

David is very well known and respected by all professional caterers in the contract catering world. He has worked for both Compass and Granada in Senior Personnel and Training roles. Currently working on his own he is now busy with the British Hospitality's "Excellence through People" programme which is our industry's version of "Investors in People". He is also involved with the setting up training programmes for the new Millennium Dome where there is naturally a strong requirement for good Customer Care Training.

John has gained specialised knowledge in Hospital, Education and Industrial sectors of the catering market. He became a Catering Manager at 22 years of age and has since managed both Contract and In House operations. Whilst being responsible for the total management of in-house multi site operations he also devised his own Food Hygiene and Health and Safety policies and developed extensive training packages for staff to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation.

Claire Hunns - Nutritional Consultant

Claire graduated from Oxford Brookes University with an Honours degree in Public Health Nutrition and is a member of The Nutrition Society. Since graduating Claire has gained vast experience working in an acute hospital environment this has enabled her to amass wide ranging knowledge of how important nutrition is in preventing, recovering and stabilising specific medical conditions.

Claire has also worked on community based nutrition projects -this has given her the foundation of knowledge of the different nutritional requirements that occur across the multicultural society of today. Claire has gained specific knowledge of different client

groups ranging from children in schools to consulting on the nutritional requirements of personnel working on residential scientific bases in the demanding conditions of the Antarctic. This experience means she can tailor nutritional guidance to meet the needs of the client.
Claire is especially interested in working with schools to increase the nutritional knowledge base that may help in the pupils mental and physical development. Claire can also advise schools on the current government led legislation concerning nutrition.

After leaving Birmingham College of Food, Paul devoted the first 8 years of his career to developing and improving his craft skills, working in various Hotels, Restaurants and finally as Directors Chef ~ National Westminster Bank.

During the last 25 years he has worked for both one of the largest, and then one of the fastest growing Contract Catering Companies (Compass and then Shaws).

Starting as an Area Manager in the West Midlands, Paul was responsible for the budgetary, financial and operational control of over 200 staff and Managers in some 20 plus clients sites.
After 8 years Paul moved into Sales and for a period of 12 years he successfully negotiated new contracts (Catering & Facilities Management) for both Compass and Shaws.
Combining the skills he had gained as a Caterer and a Sales Manager. Paul put these to good effect when he moved into Purchasing. His experience and understanding of purchasing both goods and services from tendering to negotiation and performance monitoring, makes him well qualified to offer sound and impartial advise that best meets your needs.
David Lea - Fire, Health and Safety Consultant.
Having been involved in the field of Fire, Health and Safety for the past twenty seven years, David was employed by British Steel and Metal Box (now CMB), before forming his own Company, TRI-GON Safety Consultants thirteen years ago.
His expertise covers Health and Safety at Work, whether in factories, offices, schools or catering establishments.
Currently an Associate of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management , he has a wealth of knowledge which helps the varied Organisations who use his services to comply with the many regulations etc, which make up todays safety legislation.

He is largely called upon for Fire Training (use of extinguishers), Risk Assessments, formulation of Safety Policies, help with Environmental concerns (policy, implementation) and Safety Inspections.
