Up till now Alexander Jon Richardson has offered a range of consultancy and hand holding services to a variety of clients in the education sector including Cambridge University , Colleges of Further and Higher Education and Schools. We have also been involved in a range of activities for Local Authorities including the Newham Survey, Cheshire County Council and the London Borough of Hounslow where we have given advice on portion sizes, nutritional content of meals and conducted quality audits. The core of our business has been in assisting Educational Establishments, which for whatever reason, have decided to manage their own catering services and require a form of Professional Indemnity which they receive from our service.

The majority of our clients have been Maintained Schools, where we have provided them an all year round “hand holding” service. These are Schools that have decided, for whatever reason, to manage their own catering. They have benefited from our extensive experience in School catering management and in every case they have achieved improvements in uptake, food quality and reduction in cost to their school.

Although primarily focused on the Education Sector we have been approached by some prestigious organisations for help with catering related opportunities. Amongst these we are happy to say have been The Royal Estate at Sandringham , The British Antarctic Survey, where w conducted the first ever review of catering in their 50 year history, British Midland Airways, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and Greene King Brewery

In the year 2000 we joined the Foodservice Consultants Society International and we are proud to announce that our Principal Consultant, Richard Wedgbury is now the Chairman of the UK Branch. FCSI is an organisation that attracts the cream of catering and design consultants and we were attracted to join because of the strict code of ethic that each member has to abide by
